This beautiful commemorative was commissioned for The Titanic Historical Society and is not available elsewhere. The illustration of the Britannic was created by Ken Marschall especially for this commemorative piece. The lot were taken down to the ocean floor to the wreck of the Britannic during Dr Ballard's official Britannic photographic expedition where a memorial plaque was placed by Dr Ballard on behalf of the THS remembering those who perished. While resting at the wrecksite in the submersible, the 433 envelopes which is the hull number of the Britannic, have official Greek postage stamps. Signed by Dr Robert Ballard, Ken Marschall and Eric Sauder, they are not only beautiful but are truly unique collector's items.
