The beauty and feel of natural wood can be enjoyed with this wonderful basic boat kit designed for ages 10 to 100 and is the perfect project for a rainy day. Model pictured was painted and assembled on a Sunday afternoon. All wooden parts for hull, superstructure, funnels, masts and rudder are cut and sanded ready to be painted and glued. Pre-drilled holes in hull, rigging thread and brass brads really set it off and dress it up. Even a piece of sandpaper is supplied if you need to smooth a rough spot. Paint and glue are not included. As an extra, THS created a nice detail by adding printed windows/portholes to the kit that simply can be cut out and glued on in a strip. Easy to follow illustrated, step by step instructions. Attractively packaged in a colorful nautical décor box with rope handles. Model is 9 inches long, 3 inches high.
